MADISON - Casco dairy farmer Lee Kinnard was elected president of the the Dairy Business Association, a leading advocacy organization for Wisconsin's dairy industry, during the group’s annual business meeting last week.
A previous vice president of the association, Kinnard co-owns Kinnard Farms, a concentrated animal feeding operation (CAFO) with about 8,200 cows, with his brother, Rod Kinnard, and Rod's wife, Maureen. Kinnard serves on the boards of regional dairy farmer organizations Peninsula Pride Farms and Farmers for Sustainable Food. His term as DBA president will be for two years....
