NEW Manufacturing Alliance releases its 2021 All Stars magazine

NEW Manufacturing Alliance News
The NEW Manufacturing Alliance is pleased to announce the 2021 All Stars. The organization created the program in 2009. There have been over 130 manufacturing employees recognized in the program.

Alliance member companies nominate their employees for the All-Star and Mentor Awards in June each year. Winners are spotlighted in the annual career magazine. The online version of the magazine also includes hyperlinks to three-minute videos highlighting each award winner. In total, there have been more than 250,000 magazines have reached the hands of students in Northeast Wisconsin schools and technical colleges, as well as their instructors and manufacturing leaders.

‘River North’ to bring downtown living to Manitowoc

Manitowoc's mayor says a new apartment building along the Manitowoc River will be “the largest new development in Downtown Manitowoc that we’ve seen in generations.”

A key mission of the Sheboygan County Economic Development Corporation (SCEDC) is to create proactive workforce recruitment campaigns in partnership with area firms. The SCEDC has partnered with the Pentecostals of Sheboygan County (POSC) to assist with the Joseph Project Sheboygan County, a workforce initiative that provides essential skills training to help connect people to the career opportunities in Sheboygan County.
