Jan. 13 sessions being held for companies interested in European exporting 
NEW NORTH, INC.

NEW NORTH – Companies interested in growing their presence in Europe through exporting are encouraged to attend one of two informational sessions – Grow in Europe through Exporting – being held in the New North region on Jan. 13, 2022. The meetings, which are being offered in person and virtually, are made possible through a partnership between New North Inc., its local partners and the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC).

The Jan. 13 morning session will be held from 8:30-10 a.m. at the UW-Green Bay, Sheboygan campus, at 1 University Drive in Sheboygan. The day’s afternoon session is being conducted from 12 noon-1:30 p.m. at the Bordini Center of Fox Valley Technical College, at 5 N. Systems Drive in Appleton; lunch will be provided to the in-person Appleton attendees...

Wisconsin Energy Innovation Grant Program applications due Jan. 14

WISCONSIN OFFICE OF ENERGY INNOVATION 

The Public Service Commission of Wisconsin is accepting applications for the 2021 Energy Innovation Grant Program (EIGP). The program provides funding for innovative energy projects that reduce energy consumption, increase clean energy technologies, bolster preparedness and resiliency in the energy system, or incorporate comprehensive energy planning. The Commission has allocated up to a total of $10 million in grants for EIGP 2021.

Important things to know
  • Applications are due on January 14, 2022, at 4:30 p.m. CT
  • Eligible entities for this grant program include:
  • Municipalities, Universities, Schools, Hospitals, and Like Entities (MUSH Market): cities, villages, towns, counties, K-12 school districts, tribes, municipal water and wastewater utilities, municipal electric utilities, municipal natural gas utilities, University of Wisconsin System campuses and facilities, Wisconsin Technical College System, public or nonprofit hospitals, and 501(c)(3) nonprofits.
  • Manufacturers as defined by Wis. Stat. § 77.51(7h)

Camera Corner Connecting Point announces merger

GREEN BAY -- Green Bay's Camera Corner Connecting Point is merging with a Minnesota-based information technology company.

CCCP and its sister company, ACP CreativIT, announced the merger with Citon Computer Corporation, based in Duluth, Minnesota. Citon and its sister companies, NetTel, NetGuard and TLX Communications, have offices in Duluth, Eau Claire, Wisconsin, and Brainerd Lakes and the Twin Cities in Minnesota.

Citon CEO Steven Dastoor will remain in that position, and Sean Dean of ACP will be a senior executive in the combined company...

KK Integrated Logistics has purchased the former Clearwater Paper Company property in Neenah, Wisconsin
GREEN BAY INNOVATION GROUP

NEENAH -- Cynthia Kuber, KKIL president, said the purchase consists of a 250,000-square foot warehouse on the west side of Lake Street, and the nearly 1.2 million-square-foot mill site on the east side of Lake Street, with frontage on Little Lake Butte Des Morts. The transaction was handled by Andy Lubinski and Justin Felix of CBRE. Financing was provided by Community First Credit Union.

The warehouse site is currently being renovated to accommodate a new tenant, Trilliant Food & Nutrition, that will take occupancy of the entire building by April 1st. Areas of the mill site will be utilized as warehouse space and is expected to be ready in early 2022 after mill equipment is removed...
