Miguel Santiago's family have owned vines in the area for generations and practice organic farming. Their patches of vineyard are often on steep, sandy soil, many must be tended with horses rather than machinery. Located about 1800ft above sea level, ensuring cool nights and hot days, allowing Albillo grapes to achieve full ripeness without losing the acidity.
Fermented in oak and will develop with age. Floral aroma with notes of pear, apple and fig. Full bodied and bright with hints of stone fruit and vanilla, great with chicken dishes in creamy sauces and seafood.
2017 Vin De Days Rouge
Oregon, USA
Pinot Noir, Gamay Noir, Cabernet Franc

95% Pinot noir, co-fermented with Gamay and Cab Franc. The fruit is from the north part of the Willamette Valley; Chehalem Mtn AVA and Ribbon Ridge AVA. Half was whole cluster, half destemmed, and  only did pump overs on this fruit. Fruit forward style, malolactic fermentation in stainless steel.
Bright, medium bodied pinot with red fruit and some floral notes and acidity.
