OYO Bourbon Whiskey
Michelone Reserve
Ohio, USA

$60 bottle

Four generations of distilling traditions and one particularly determinedd grandfather inspired Middle West Spirits’ first Master’s Blend. This small-batch whiskey pairs the finest Kentucky straight bourbon with the award-winning OYO Whiskey to create a smooth, smoky, and softly sweet bourbon that proudly bears the name of the grandfather who inspired it all. The Michelone Reserve is a flavor-forward blend of sweet yellow corn, soft red winter wheat, dark pumpernickel rye, and two-row barley.

“Dark amber color. Aromas of banana, coconut cream pies and toffeed nuts with a supple, fruity medium-to-full body and a sweet cream, dried fruit, honeyed whole nut, incense and baking spices driven finish. A flavorful and elegantly balanced bourbon.” International Review of Spirits, Beverage Testing Institute
OYO Rye Whiskey
Dark Pumpernickel Rye
Ohio, USA

$45 bottle

Using a single-varietal dark rye grown in fields across the Ohio River Valley, OYO Dark Pumpernickel Rye Whiskey joins the fast growing craft spirits movement as America’s first straight rye whiskey. Hand-crafted from scratch, this signature rye whiskey is made in small batches and barrel aged for 3+ years in full-size American oak casks. The result is a softly sweet, full-bodied, high-proof whiskey with notes of vanilla caramel, cinnamon, smoked oak and just enough pumpernickel spice to remind you that its a true american rye whiskey.
Pur Spirits Blackthorn Sloe Gin
Bavaria, Germany

$42 bottle

Sloe gin is a glorious liqueur made by steeping sloe berries in gin with just a touch of sweetness. In the fall, dark blue and purple clusters of sloe berries grow on thorny Blackthorn trees common in hedgerows across Europe. Sloes are highly astringent but when macerated in gin, they lend warming bitter sweetness and fresh acidity to the resulting liqueur.
Happily, four ingredients are all that is needed to make sloe gin: sloe berries, gin, sugar and patience! We start by distilling gin, then infuse it with wild sloe berries. Adding sugar helps to release the sloe berries’ entire flavor spectrum and vibrant hues into the gin. The result is a mahogany colored liqueur combining ripe sweetness with fresh acidity.Try a splash in your next gin and tonic!
