2012 Cristom Mt. Jefferson
Pinot Noir
Willamette Valley, Oregon

$32 bottle / 2 for $57

This Pinot Noir is a medium garnet color. On the nose it is showing cola berry, oolong tea and wild berry aromas. It has the 'signature' Mt. Jefferson liveliness on the palate with bright, juicy red cherry flavors that echo on the finish. There are more complex flavors of earth and spice evident on the
palate but they need a little time to show through more completely.
This Pinot Noir will develop nicely in the short to medium term.

Cristom embodies this vision of 'letting the land make the wines'. In fact, Cristom has farmed sustainably since 1992 and the vineyards and winery are now Certified Sustainable by the Oregon LIVE program
 (Low Input Viticulture and Enology).

Named one of Wine & Spirits "2014 Wineries of the Year"
2013 Vincent Pinard Sancerre Flores
Sauvignon Blanc
Loire, France

$32 bottle / 2 for $57

Fine crisp and very classic there is plenty of fruit here, lemon, lime and grapefruit zest with a ripe juicy acidity, a strong complex terroir dimension is obvious, too, with its chalky, mineral touches.

The Pinards have been passing down winemaking techniques for generations, with the goal of always creating the most precise, pure and fine wines possible. While many wineries are reverting to these natural winemaking practices, the Pinards have been implementing these methods for hundreds of years on their 17 hectares. They do everything as naturally as possible; intervene as little as feasible, limit yields, harvest by hand, and do not use herbicide, insecticides or anti-rot treatments.
Widow Jane
 Bourbon
Brooklyn, NY

$75 bottle / 2 for $135

This 8 year old single barrel whiskey is aged to perfection. Blended with Widow Jane Mine mineral water and left unfiltered for the deepest color, flavor & aroma. Aromas of butter, cream & toffee; front flavor of cherry wood & olive oil; mid of orange; finish of burnt orange and spice.

Based in the Redhook area of Brooklyn, NY. Though their distillery is new, the family business was established more than 100 years ago – farming organic cacao in the Dominican Republic. The unique flavor of their spirits is due to the pure sweet water of the Widow Jane Mine in Rosendale, NY. With its native limestone from that built the Brooklyn Bridge, Statue of Liberty and the Empire State Building.
