The NCSMH team is disheartened by the recent tragic shootings in Atlanta, GA and Boulder, CO. School administrators, educators, and mental health and health providers must be prepared to address safety and mental health concerns of staff, students, families, and communities impacted by these events. Hate crimes and violence against Asian-American, Pacific Islander, and Muslim communities is of particular concern.
