Subject: NCSMH Receives the MASBHC Apple Award for Lifetime Achievement

Dear Colleague,

We are pleased to announce that our National Center for School Mental Health (NCSMH) has been awarded the Apple Award for Lifetime Achievement by the Maryland Assembly on School-Based Health Care (MASBHC)!

MASBHC presents the Apple Award annually to those individuals or organizations who have demonstrated years of exceptional dedication, innovation, and leadership in the field of school-based health care. And from its beginnings in 1989 in Baltimore City to its national prominence today, NCSMH has demonstrated these qualities. The NCSMH has strived to reduce barriers to learning and promote success for all students by providing services and supports to children, adolescents, and families in their schools and communities, has worked to bridge the research and practice gap to promote the best care possible to those served and provides high quality training and professional development to ensure the best services and supports are available to students, families, and communities through Maryland and nationally.

We are honored to be the recipients of this award and are grateful to our entire team for their commitment to advancing school mental health!
