The Center for Health and Health Care in Schools is seeking a Senior Center Administrator, Research and Evaluation to oversee the Center’s portfolio of monitor, evaluation, continuous quality improvement, and research activities.


This highly visible and experienced position performs research and manages many outreach, operational, and administrative functions of the research centers/institute, in addition to serving as a key advisor. This position typically establishes the work plan with sponsors and oversees project completion, including the financial management of project funds for established objectives. This research position manages administrative duties operationally, in addition to providing strategic input for either a research center or institute. This role may work with industry partners and donors/funding agencies to expand sponsored research activities and will oversee program management and research operations for the center/institute. This position typically assists with assessing and evaluating program objectives and execution to ensure a sound basis for long-term program acquisition and processes, ensuring the accurate and timely completion of materials relevant to the objective. The position typically partners on evaluating research methods, procedures, and techniques based on established objectives. This is the highest non-management research position within Centers/Institutes. This is a typically a single incumbent position for a Center or Institute.


The CHHCS Senior Center Administrator, Research and Evaluation will conduct the research and evaluation work of CHHCS and help school districts and communities across the nation develop and evaluate school-connected programs and policies that support the health and well-being of children. This position will have the opportunity to grow the evaluation work of the Center, as well as assist with other Center projects and programs. The Center operates as a cohesive collaborative team and the Senior Center Administrator of Research and Evaluation will be expected to operate as part of the team, working closely with others and operating as part of the unit.
