Inseparable, a nonprofit advocacy organization working with allies, activists, and lawmakers to expand school mental health services, thanks you for attending the 2023 Annual Conference on Advancing School Mental Health!

We hope you were inspired by our Wednesday keynote presentation featuring our founder and president, Bill Smith, and two lawmakers who are school mental health champions, Speaker Valerie Longhurst of Delaware and Senator Dafna Michaelson Jenet of Colorado.

Inseparable believes in the audacious goal of putting comprehensive school mental health resources in every school in our country because every student, in every zip code, deserves the mental services they need to thrive. We launched the Hopeful Futures Campaign with multiple partner organizations, including the National Center for School Mental Health, to advance school mental health at the state and federal levels.

While school mental health is not new to anyone reading this, it requires conversations with policymakers if we want to make it a reality everywhere. That’s why we created America’s School Mental Health Report Card, to offer policymakers a snapshot of where every state was on important policies, and a State Legislative Guide to highlight promising efforts by state legislatures. We hope you’ll use these resources--and stay tuned for an updated report card in 2024.
