Fighting On Capitol Hill For The Poor

As a member of the "Circle of Protection," an alliance of Christian leaders including Mainline Protestants, Orthodox Christians, Evangelicals, and Catholics, the National Council of Churches has worked tirelessly to protect against legislation that would harm the poor.

The National Council of Churches is there.

As Christian leaders, the concern is always about how legislation impacts the poor and most vulnerable. With other leaders of the Circle of Protection, we join together to pray, mobilize, and advocate on behalf of our neighbors in poverty.

Your donations help make our presence at the front lines of today's most important struggles for justice possible.  Give generously so we can get out there every time God calls.

A Global Day of Giving

#GivingTuesday is a global day of giving fueled by the power of social media and collaboration.

Celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving (in the U.S.) and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday, #GivingTuesday kicks off the charitable season, when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving.
