The National Council of the Churches of Christ in the USA (NCC) thanks you for the many ways you supported our ecumenical initiatives as we celebrated our 75th Anniversary in October in Boston. To those who joined us in person, thank you for making the week memorable. To those who could not attend but still supported us in other ways, thank you for investing in our mission. And to those who were unable to join us or donate then, we warmly invite you to share in this legacy by making a Giving Tuesday contribution today.
For seven and a half decades, NCC has been untiring in its efforts toward ecumenical unity, Christian fellowship, biblical scholarship, public witness, and advocacy for the most vulnerable in our society. We have focused on areas and issues where we can come together across denominational divides and diverse traditions to strive for unity and justice while upholding the most important tenets of our faith. This work of doing justice, loving mercy, and walking humbly with our God continues, and we need your help to sustain it.
Celebrating the past is one thing; building for the future is another. Giving Tuesday is an opportunity to extend our ecumenical and advocacy mission to present and future generations. Your gift will help us co-host the Regional Ecumenical Theological Institute (RETI) with the Canadian Council of Churches. RETI is an opportunity to train and educate newer generations of ecumenists—emerging leaders and students—for the work ahead.
Our efforts to advocate for justice and our mission to demonstrate the love of God in real, tangible ways are also vital parts of the work God has entrusted to us.
