We hope you took advantage of the offers from our service partners that we had sent in our previous email. Do let us know if you found them beneficial.

With Zakat being the focus of what we do, we often tend to speak only about how we collect & distribute Zakat. But what about other payments like Fitr, Qurban and general Sadaqah? As a donor, you may be wondering how we use these funds. They are indeed a big part of how we assist the local community.

First & foremost, similar to Zakat, all other donations that we receive are used towards local causes only.

Fitr & Qurban

Your Fitr & Qurban go to families here in Australia, that we already know are struggling. This is typically because they have been assessed as Zakat eligible and our team is already working in assisting them.

Sadaqah

Sadaqah is essentially the backbone to keeping NZF running. It is a Sadaqah Jariyah that allows us to continue doing the work we are doing for years and years to come insha Allah!

Sadaqah is used to support costs in relation to our operations, establishing our programs (click here) and empowering us to launch new projects & initiatives that Zakat funds cannot be used for. Sadaqah is also used to support cases in the event that they are not eligible for Zakat. Sadaqah is the fuel for our growth Alhamdulillah, without which there isn't much we can do.

Regular Giving

To this effect - we have a small group of 140 amazing people who have set up regular Sadaqah payments that keep powering us to continue helping those in need right here in our community.
