Make the best use of this super day!
Assalamualaikum,

Tonight is the 27th night of Ramadan. Many scholars are of the opinion that the 27th night has the highest probability of being Laylatul-Qadr - the night that is better than a 1000 months as stated by Allah in the Qur'an.

But that's not all.
  • Today is Friday, the best day of the week.
  • It's Ramadan, the best month of the year.
  • It's also the last Friday of Ramadan.
  • As per the authentic Hadith, the hour after Asr & before Maghrib is an hour where no sincere dua by a Muslim goes unanswered by Allah.
  • And following Maghrib it's the night with the highest likelihood of being Laylatul-Qadr, the best night of the year.
If you let that settle in, you'll soon realize you shouldn't be reading this email but doing as many good deeds as you can to maximize the potential this day has to offer.

Here are some things you can / should try and do today
  • Take a bath, wear good clothes & smell good.
  • Attend Jumu'ah prayers at the Mosque. Be there before the Khutbah starts.
  • Recite Surah Kahf.
  • Send lots of Salaawaat upon the Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
  • Make sincere dua after Asr. Ask Allah for forgiveness. Ask Allah that He accepts ALL your deeds during this month of Ramadan.
  • After Maghrib, focus on taking advantage of Laylatul Qadr. Recite the dua "Allahumma innaka ‘afuwwun, tuhibbul-‘afwa, fa’fu ‘anni (O Allah, You are Most Forgiving, and You love forgiveness; so forgive me).” [At-Tirmidhi]
  • Engage in Salah, reading the Qur'an and making dua.
  • Donate sadaqah. If you have not yet paid your Zakat, tonight is a great time to do so. Click here to donate to NZF.
And last but not least, I ask that you keep the NZF team in your dua, that we keep our intentions sincere and are able to continue doing this work for the sake of Allah alone.

May Allah accept all our deeds, forgive all our sins and allow us to witness Laylatul Qadr. Ameen,
Walaikumasalam,
