Assalamu Alaykum Friend,

For over 70 years, our brothers and sisters in the blessed land of Palestine have suffered under Israel's oppressive regime, facing constant bombardment, genocide and eviction from their own homes. The recent attacks in Gaza has led many people to ask myself and the team at NZF:

  • How do we remain positive when our Ummah all around the world constantly faces hardship?

  • What can we do as the Australian Muslim community for our brothers and sisters in Palestine, and in other oppressive nations?

During this time of crisis, we may find ourselves tunnel-visioned and fixated on the negatives, but we need to find hope together to stand for our brothers and sisters around the world.

Join us LIVE tomorrow, Wednesday 26th of May at 7:30PM (Sydney time), for our first post-Ramadan episode of Real Talk. Our panelists for tomorrow night include – Ramia Abdo Sultan (Gaza Children's Fund, ANIC), Dalya Ayoub (Life Matters Academy) and Walid Ali (CEO of Islamic Relief).

Now more than ever, we need to continue holding strong together and empower our local Muslim community here in Australia, so we can in turn help those in need overseas.
