Every year, we receive over 80 cases from our community seeking financial assistance for chronic illnesses such as cancer, diabetes, heart disease, and others. Fatima, one of our most recent clients, had a similar experience when she was fighting cancer.

Friend, the number of cases in our community requiring financial assistance from us for medical needs has increased dramatically. If you or someone you know is experiencing financial difficulties, please do not hesitate to contact us for assistance.

Last month we ran an important campaign to raise funds for Muslim families who are impacted by cancer in Australia.

During the course of one week, we managed to raise over $12,000 going all towards our Caring Connection Program which is specifically designed to assist and support Muslims who are ill, are caring for a family member who is recovering from an illness, and families who have lost a loved one.

Your donations will specifically go to Muslim clients, carers, and families living with cancer in Australia.

A big thank you to all in the community who joined the challenge and donated generously to the cause. May Allah reward you for your efforts.

NZF Australia Summit 2022

Alhamdulillah, we had a productive (and tiring) time at our National Summit this past weekend. The team had in-depth discussions of our journey since 2013 (nearly 10 years!) and we shared challenges and learnings on how we can improve the services we provide.

We had some very exciting discussions on plans to take NZF to the next level over the next few years. Step change that will ensure that we are staying relevant to our local community Insha Allah!

As Munir, our National Manager shared during the summit - "If we look back and are content with the work we've done, there is something wrong within us. If we are truly doing this for the sake of Allah, we can only look forward and focus on how we can do things better."

It's always an eye-opener and a reminder to the team to come together and reflect on our purpose and why we do the work we do at NZF. We pray that Allah continues to guide us and keep us all sincere. Ameen.
