Subhan Allah, this year has passed quickly as we already are in Jumada Awal, only three lunar months away from the blessed Ramadan.
While NZF has continued to assist local families in hardship, the events that have unfolded in Gaza and Palestine has left us shocked and horrified. Injustices, massacre, genocide, apartheid, ethnic cleansing, torture, illegal imprisonment, destruction of homes, schools, hospitals, places of worship, Masajids, businesses, the list is endless. Many of us are left feeling helpless. Even in the smallest way you can make a difference.
1. Make ongoing dua for them
2. Contribute financially to charities who are helping on the ground in Gaza
3. Raise your voices and support actions that is being taken within your communities
4. Boycott products and organisations who are complicit in this genocide
Finally do not despair, as Muslims we know that Allah Azzawajaal is ultimately in control.
