Just a final reminder to get your Zakatul Fitr organised ASAP if you are thinking of getting it done through NZF this year :)

We request you please organise this asap so we can give it out before Eid day - this is part of the obligation.

Here are some things to keep in mind:

• Zakat al-Fitr is an obligatory, small charity given at the end of Ramadan directed to those in need.

• Fitr must be given before Eid Salah or else it is invalid.

• It is a duty which is mandatory on every Muslim, whether male or female, minor or adult, as long as they have the means to do so.

As per the Australian National Imam Council $17 per person is the amount for Zakat al-Fitr this year. The easy-to-use payment portal allows the Zakat al-Fitr you owe to be easily calculated. We'd appreciate it if you can organise to fulfill your Fitr as early as possible, so we can do our job and get it to those in need before Eid insha Allah.
