Assalamu Alaykum Friend

It is a uniquely blessed day today, SubhanAllah.

We are in the heart of the 10 great nights of Ramadan. We are on a Friday, the "Eid of the believers" as the Prophet (peace be upon him) called it. It is a great day to potentially pay your Zakat, with compound blessings on offer.

We are getting a lot of questions, discussions and engagement on Zakat as people enter that time of Ramadan. It is fantastic and heart-warming to see. We pray Allah (SWT) accepts the intentions of all in our community that are taking this obligation so seriously.

Friend NZF acts as a safety net for our community. We are there for people who are left with nothing - people who the government does not support because of a myriad of reasons.

And in our practical experience, this has helped save the well being and possibly even the Imaan of many. Truly, people are strengthened when they see their community stand with them, be there for them in their hour of need, and the importance of doing so cannot possibly be emphasised enough.
