Assalamu Alaykum,

This year we distributed more than double compared to last year which was certainly unexpected but great Alhamdulillah!

However, given over half of Fitr was received in the last five days of Ramadan, it greatly increased the work load of our team, many of whom worked around the clock to ensure we could get it to the increased number of families that we were now entrusted to assist, in time before Eid.

With the relevance of local Fitr clearly being recognised by more and more Australian Muslims, we expect the amount of Fitr given locally to increase in the coming years and in preparation can I ask that the community please try and pay Fitr by the 15th of Ramadan so we can effectively assist increasing number of families year on year insha Allah.

I look forward to working with you all next year to continue reaching more families in need in our community so we may all celebrate Eid together, through the wisdom of paying Fitr locally. Jazaakum Allah Khair for your amazing support this Ramadan and I pray that Allah accept it from all of us. Ameen.
