Subject: The weekend, last night's real talk and the last 10 nights

Assalamualaikum Friend

I hope your Ramadan is going well. Just a couple of points I wanted to make this Saturday morning.

Weekend availability for Zakat questions

A few of you have reached out asking if the NZF team is available on the weekends to help with Zakat calculation.

The answer is YES. Easiest thing to do would be to visit our website (click here) and chat live with a Zakat consultant to have your questions answered.

Living expecting Death

Did you catch sister Mariam Ardati speaking for the first time publicly about her cancer journey live last night on our Real Talk series? Something that I took away that could benefit us all, not just in the last 10 nights but life in general, is her approach to living life, expecting to die any time, Subhan Allah. When most of us live life, expecting to live for years to come.

Game changer for many I'm sure. If you haven't seen the video, click here to watch it.

Last 10 nights automated donations

More than 500 of you have signed up this Ramadan for automated donations. Some of you have asked exactly when the last 10 nights payments will start and to clarify - they will start tomorrow night, 2 May, which will be the 21st night for many. For those of you who started one day later, it will mean one additional day of donation. The payments will be taken during the night, irrespective of what time of day you signed up insha Allah.

If you haven't signed up yet, you can do so by clicking here

It's just 3 simple steps, and you guarantee catching Laylatul Qadr! Don't forget to make the intention of donating for every night when you sign up.

Lastly, we produced this video that quite nicely summarises the work you've been supporting but also what's ahead for NZF and what you can look forward to. Please do keep the NZF team in your dua during these blessed nights for Allah to make these programs a means to transform our community.

Have a great weekend and do let us know if you have any questions!
