Assalamu Alaykum,

We pray the past few nights have been productive for you in all of your endeavors and that Allah rewards you greatly for all of your efforts!

Tonight is the 29th night of Ramadan - it is the FINAL odd night. Whilst we can feel the joyous Eid atmosphere slowly creeping up on us, we need to keep a few things front of mind tonight:

Laylatul Qadr could be tonight
Whilst a lot of us put our efforts into the 27th night, the reality is that we should look for Laylatul Qadr throughout the entire last 10 nights of Ramadan.

Tonight is an odd night and does carry a greater likelihood of being Laylatul Qadr - so we should make sure that we exert ourselves in worship through multiple avenues. We should pray more, recite the Quran and give sadaqah generously.

It’s not too late to end Ramadan with a bang
If you feel like your Ramadan has seen you spiritually “in-the-dumps” and haven’t gotten enough out of it, it's not too late to turn things around.

Make tonight a sprint to make up for the past couple of weeks. An easy yet powerful way of doing this is through paying your Zakat if you haven’t yet already or donating any amount to sadaqah.

Allah is All-Merciful, capable of great forgiveness, and as many ahadith inform us, a good deed done with the right intention at the right time can be an expiation for less than optimal adherence to Islam in a lifetime, let alone a mere month! Do not despair in Allah’s mercy, and use every last chance you have: Zakat and Sadaqah on 29th night are among them!
