Assalamu Alaykum Friend,

It's finally the 23rd of February. Tonight is the first of three Fundraising Dinners for Palestine, organised through a collaborative effort by National Zakat Foundation, Islamic Relief, Penny Appeal and Brothers in Need, Alhamdulillah!

A show of unity at a time when it's much needed.

There has been much discussion on the tests that our brothers & sisters in Palestine are going through but at the same time, there has also been some amazing shows of unity & solidarity around the world to stand up in their support. Perhaps this is a test for all of us here in Australia too, and perhaps, a response through unifying our efforts to help those affected may be what earns Allah's Pleasure.

Let us not stay silent during such times. Let us do whatever little we can so we can stand with our heads high on the day that it matters, knowing we did what we could.
