Subject: Farzaneh was pregnant, alone and despondent. Then we helped

Assalamu alaykum

Since our foundation in 2013, refugees are one category of people that NZF Australia has been at the forefront of helping. This week, we want to ask our community to reflect on those individuals and families who have fled their homelands to seek safety with us.

For Muslims, we can reflect upon the greatest generation - the Companions of our beloved Prophet SAW, who (including the Prophet SAW himself) were either refugees (muhajiroon) or providing safe haven (ansar).

Which group do each of us fall into; what lessons do we take from them, what have we applied?

We are doing a livestream this week to speak about this issue and invite you to join us.

EOFY - a chance for ajr

With EOFY approaching fast, it is a good time to increase in generosity with an added benefit of it being tax deductible.

Anything you give in Sadaqah or Zakat to NZF Australia gives you this benefit, so we encourage you to consider giving Sadaqah and Zakat through us before the end of June.

Give before the end of June to support our ongoing work.
