Tonight is a night I am looking forward to a lot, so I wanted to share a quick reminder with you, hoping that you can join me and us. As you know, we've been running a campaign of Domestic and Family Violence (FDV) for the last few weeks. Last Thursday we had our first Real Talk episode as part of this campaign. Alhamdulillah it received a strong response and some strong engagement from our community. You can view it here. This evening we return with a critical topic, giving the microphone to some of our sisters to share their experiences.
In this episode, we take a look at the root causes of domestic violence in the Muslim community and the actions that need to be taken to resolve this critical issue, with the voices of victims and their experiences in sharp focus.
We will have some very esteemed sisters from the community on the show. Many of them are very close to our work and strong advocates for our community.
I really hope you can join us for what is going to be one of our most important episodes to date. it will be emotional no doubt, but it's a critical conversation we need to have.
