Assalamu Alaykum,
As we pass by the month of March this year, we have now assisted 5,787 cases and distributed $4,556,172.45 of your Zakat Alhamdulillah. Click here to see breakdown of the cases on our website.
When we reflect back to when we started NZF during Ramadan 2013 who would have thought there would be so much need locally here in Australia?
What this has also led to is an increased awareness of a known problem, i.e. one of uplifting our community here in Australia. In the past few months we have seen many other organisations enter discussions to explore avenues to work together for a common good and this is exactly what we need. Insha Allah we see more of this in the coming months & years as it is through collaboration that we can strengthen ourselves and lay down a good foundation for our future generations. |

Partnerships
This year has seen NZF enter formal partnerships with three reputed organisations in Victoria, all of whom are actively working to empowering the Muslim community in different ways. We will be working with each organisation in a different capacity to further the establishment of the benefits of Zakat within our local community, be it through wider reaching collection & distribution, through Zakat awareness and education as well as incorporating the wisdom of Zakat into your overall financial planning.
We are currently in many partnership discussions across Australia with many more organisations, so watch this space!

Ramadan Preparation
With Ramadan just 5 weeks away, this year we are commencing our annual Zakat Tour in the next few weeks so you can learn about Zakat and plan your Zakat obligations prior to the onset of Ramadan insha Allah.
