Umm Ali is a mother of 4 children and is divorced from an abusive husband. A Church had previously given her affordable accommodation where no Islamic organisation was there to help.
She forcibly had to vacate her property and had no money for a bond due to children's expenses.
The Church continued offering help again, and we know from our experience that Muslims’ very imaan is at risk in such situations.
“Where is my community to help? Why do other religions’ institutions help me first?”
The case was brought to our attention and NZF is now in touch, assisting her and making her life easy practically through the power of local Zakat.
