Asalamu Alaykum,

Those of you who know me, our community is something I strongly care about. And the unity within our community is a big deal. So as we draw to the last third of this blessed month, I am enormously grateful, first to Allah for His Generosity and Mercy, and then to all my fellow Muslims here in Australia, who have just been fabulous this Ramadan.

The amount of support and invitations to speak at mosques, centres, homes, iftaars that I and my team have received has been overwhelming and unprecedented. I am very pleased and excited that we have become a trusted Zakat organisation by the communityI have visited numerous new mosque projects and I can see the new found confidence our community has.

As I often say, we are not a charity. We are an organisation that is driven to implement the pillar of Zakat in Australia, so we can all reap the enormous benefits of this pillar that underpins the other four pillars as one community

When we reached out to some key community leaders to put a video together, I never thought we'd be able to do one with so many respected leaders showing us their support!

Alhamdulillah, the below video is testimony of the community recognising the need for local empowerment & support so we can collectively advance.
The community needs you
This would not be possible with your support. There are many in our community that need help and your Zakat belongs to them. NZF has been fulfilling this responsibility since 2013, Alhamdullilah. There is still a long way to go and we are constantly adapting, learning and improving so we can fulfill our mission of distribution of Zakat in a transformative way, insha Allah.

With your generosity and support, we are together building a legacy for our future generations in Australia.

Zakat is the pillar that upholds and protects the Imaan of our most vulnerable in the community.

Your 2.5% is their 100%, more importantly, it’s their right.

So continue to purify and increase your wealth by paying your Zakat locally with NZF this Ramadan.

Tonight could be Laylat ul Qadr
As you know tonight could be Laylat ul Qadr. Last year, we had the highest number of Zakat payments on the 23rd night.
If you have already paid your Zakat, why not sign up to a daily donation for the remaining nights so you can secure paying some Sadaqah on Laylat ul Qadr. Click here to set it up.

Wishing you all a blessed last 10 days and may Allah grant you the privilege of the rewards of Laylatul Qadr.

As you make dua, give us a special mention please. The Prophet (saw) said the best dua to read is:
اَللَّهُمَّ اِنَّكَ عَفُوٌّ ، تُحِبُّ الْعَفْوَ فَاعْفُ عَنِّي
Aisha (RA) reported: I asked: “O Messenger of Allah! If I realize Laylat-ul-Qadr (Night of Decree), what should I supplicate in it?” He (SAW) replied, “You should supplicate: Allahumma innaka ‘afuwwun, tuhibbul-‘afwa, fa’fu ‘anni
(O Allah, You are Most Forgiving, and You love forgiveness; so forgive me).” [At-Tirmidhi].
Wasalam
