Hey, beautiful!
Today, I really felt pulled to share a note about confidence and being confident on camera.
People say I am very confident... but it wasn't always like this.
The first time I talked on camera on social media was to record short tips or pep talks on stories when I was a food freedom coach 4 years ago.
OMG, I use to get paralysed!
Words wouldn't flow at all. I had to record 5 or more times the same things for a 30 second speech.
But I didn't let the fear stop me and I kept going.
Through practice, I got better and after some time it started to feel more natural.
Then I moved into doing lives...
I had to write a whole script for what I wanted to say or I my brain would freeze and I would forget everything.
And even with all the notes, I could talk for like 5 to 10 minutes maximum with a broken voice.
Now, I can talk for 20 or 30 minutes straight with ease, do 1 hour interviews and do talks/masterclasses for more than 1h with just a few bull points (so I don't forget the important bits).
What I am here to say is, no one is born with the confidence to do things and show up confidently.
Confidence is something that you master through practice.
If you want something, don't give up, and keep practising.
