Some of my friends were also attending the dance congress. They were staying around in different apartments. They met to go for dinner everyday and were surprise of me not joining.
It is not like I didn't do anything with them...
... I was just joining for drinks and cocktaills afterwards.
We were dancing in the parties of the dance congress till late. So we were waking up late and having a late brunch. Then some nuts or fruit as a snack while in the pool and beach parties and in the evening head back to the apartment to get ready for the night parties and cook the main meal.
It was seriously so enjoyable!
I could get ready at my own pace, not rushing to meet for dinner and enjoy calmly all the homemade meals.
I was so satisfied that I didn't have any cravings at all...
...I only went for an ice cream once!
Can you believe that?
I was so fulfilled of the delicious and nutritious meals that I didn't fancy anything else.
I didn't even eat the oreos they left in the apartment as a gift.
This is what surprised me the most!
Me not eating biscuits?? Whaaaattt??? It was a great experience that makes me realise how much everything changes when you find balance and you provide your body what it needs.
I didn't stop myself from having anything I wanted or drinking alcohol. My body just asked for what it wanted and it was eating to feel nourished and enjoy the local homemade food.
This time I decided to fully listen to my body and it was screaming for balance to keep up with the craziness of the dance congress.
Listening to your body is such a great thing to do.
You can definitely do it too!
