| | You are invited to join us for the 11th Annual "River-City For Itty-Bitties" (RIBS) 7v7 Adult Tournament. This is an adults-only 7v7 tournament to be held on Saturday & Sunday, May 21 & 22, at the Mike Rose Soccer Complex in Memphis, Tennessee. Proceeds from this event will once again be supporting LeBonheur Children's Hospital Neuroscience Institute & Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
As always, our tournament's inspiration comes from long-time GMSA players Jason & Jessica Vinson and the experience they've had with the premature birth of their late daughter Rylee, as well as the current medical challenges facing their daughter Kayden as she battles epilepsy. Their stories (among others) are featured on our tournament website. LeBonheur continues to give the Vinson's tremendous support, and this tournament serves as a way for their friends in the soccer community to help them give back to such a worthy organization.
Registration is only $300 per team...minimum of 11 players, maximum of 17 players, with each team guaranteed at least three games. All participants will receive tournament t-shirts, with additional prizes for the winners in each division. All tournament participants must be at least 18 years of age...this is an adults-only event.
We are offering men's, women's and coed divisions with brackets as noted below. (Divisions may be split/expanded or consolidated, depending on the number of teams entered.)
Men: Competitive, Intermediate, Recreational, & Over-35
Coed: Competitive, Intermediate, Recreational
Women: Competitive, Intermediate, Recreational
(NOTE: Coed games are not scheduled at the same as men's or women's games...they could be back-to-back, but will not be simultaneous. So if you want to bring teams in two categories, or all three, you can!)
* If you're unsure which division might be best for your team, please email us first, and we can give you a better idea of where you best fit. For the sake of parity, we want to place teams as appropriately as possible, and sometimes it's hard to tell just from a roster. So please help us in this regard by requesting the division that best reflects the talent of your team. Deadline to register is Saturday, May 7...but sooner is better!
