Dear Friends of LeBonheur,
The Mike Rose Soccer Complex would like to respectfully ask for your help and support. We are getting ready to 'tee it up' to raise money for the children of LeBonheur, with our annual charity golf tournament on Thursday May 25th 12pm at Memphis National Golf Club. This years event will again be played on the "LEGENDS" course. All the money raised will go towards the John Talley Pediatric Neurological Research Fund at LeBonheur Children's Hospital. The fund was set up in 2002 after cancer claimed the life of John Talley. Up until his death John not only served as the GM at the Mike Rose Soccer Complex (MRSC), but he was also the brainchild that conceived the idea and plans for MRSC. John's goal was to provide better fields and better opportunities for children and adults to play soccer in the Midsouth. In 2016, with the support of the soccer community through donations, sponsorships and chili dips, we were able to donate $15,000 to LeBonheur Children's Hospital!
We have already received confirmation from some of our larger golf sponsors that they will be participating again. Collierville Soccer Association will be an Eagle Sponsor again, Dillard’s will be giving away $100.00 gift cards at each par 3 for closest to the pin! Landers Ford are presenting a hole in one vehicle! Are you going to be the one that wins these prizes this year? We also have Corky's back serving food on Hole #1, as well as Academy Sports donating lots of sport gear and equipment! Whether you are a ringer, duffer or would just like to be a sponsor please help us make this event a success this year!
