Subject: What's Your Purpose? Wanna Know How to Find Out?🌻

Today I'd like to talk about purpose. And I'd like to start with the question are you having trouble finding your purpose in life? I am I ask yourself why is he asking me this question right now?

Well, it's something that I wanted for most of my life. In fact, I don't think until I was in my 40s that I really understood what it was that I wanted to achieve in this life.

My purpose became clear to me all of a sudden. And I want to point out here that there are so many books and so much advice on how to find your purpose in life. This in my opinion is a big part of the problem and it might be bothering you.

I believe that you can't sit down and focus and think and work out what is your purpose you know in an hour or two, or through meditation or through any self-help books. No, I'm not saying those books are not helpful and that you should devote some time to thinking about this. But in my experience finding your purpose is not easy. It will hit you in the face one day out of nowhere! But look for it and you won’t find it...

After years of feeling like my life was aimless, I felt like there was a hole that I needed to fill and I just didn't know how to satisfy the need I had in my life. All of my problems seemed to be coming from that at the time.

I was clueless and torn in so many different directions and I was desperately unhappy to the point where I became severely depressed for two years or more. Talking helped, but nothing really solved the problem until I found my purpose. Now you might ask me, Karl, what has this got to do with my self-esteem?

Well, my answer would be that true self-esteem is when you feel confident in everything that you're doing in your life. First of all, you have to make goals and you have to be making those goals in order to achieve your purpose. If you have no purpose, then you can't set goals and you can't be sure that you're on the right path.

When you have a purpose clear in your mind and when you are working to achieve it every small success will boost your confidence to continue.

The achievements that you have, no matter how many how small, will become that much more important to you when they are contributing towards your purpose.

The problem is that these days there are so many difficulties that we face, with the pandemic, changes in work, insecurities and more. We have new social pressures, these are difficult times!
