Subject: How to take action: part two

Today, I want to continue where I left off last week. Think of this as part two.

Last week I talked about the two steps to improving your life and your self esteem. What were they? Don’t remember...

1. Reflection and learning (thinking)

2. Taking ACTION. That first step and then following it with the next and the next…

Let’s continue to think about this. The first step, thinking about how you are right now and what you want to change is vital but the problem is you can stuck in this reflection and reading stage. At some point you need to have courage and go for change!

Last week I asked you to consider 5 ways to improve yourself:

1. reflect for a moment (notice moment here, don’t take too long but be clear about the direction you want to go and where you want to go).
2. Come to an understanding – accept if you have to and decide your next steps (again it is easy to get stuck here and waste time with indecision but the sooner you take the first step the better. The longer you wait, the more chance fear can stop you).
3. Stop worrying and understand you can’t control everything, just do your best.
4. Look after yourself both physically and mentally to make sure you are fit to make the best choices and to take action. Daily self-care also is a way of showing yourself some affection and love which will boost your inner self esteem.
5. Get help if you need it. Don’t be afraid to admit you need some help.
