Hi,

How is this year going for you so far?

To say it is a crazy year is an understatement. A pandemic, meteors coming close to us, political problems all over the world, climate change and a certain B word I don’t want to mention that’s happening in the UK.

Last week we lost a very good friend and she wasn’t yet 40. It was sudden, which just proves again that we should make the most of our time alive here on this wonderful planet.

With all the chaos going on it is easy to feel depressed. How are you feeling?

Fear is all around us and seems to be encouraged on TV. I am genuinely worried about things but also know that we need to be at peace inside.

If you are feeling depressed do something positive before it gets worse. If it is not bad, then help yourself. How?

Take up a new hobby.

Take up a new sport. Get exercise.

Go out and be inspired by nature. Our world is so beautiful.

But please if you keep feeling depressed for longer than one or two weeks, get help.

Never be shy or ashamed to ask for help. Most people will give it. If you are hurting or really unhappy right now, don’t accept it. Ask for help.

I have experienced depression and extreme unhappiness, I needed support and understanding to get out of it. We all need help sometimes.

These are difficult times. I wish happiness for everybody, myself included.

The world is beautiful, go and enjoy it! You are amazing, believe that and life becomes that much better.

Don’t let your relationships suffer if you feel depressed. Here are five great relationship tips for you if you feel anxious or depressed.
