Subject: Our Newest Board Member and the STM Leadership Team!

Meet our Newest Board Member

Rev. Stephen and Rebekah Kjetland

Stephen, raised in a ministry family, felt a God's call to pastoral service in 2006. He pursued this calling, earning a BA in Pastoral Studies and serving as a youth pastor before becoming Senior Pastor at Family Worship Center in Park Falls, Wisconsin. His wife, Rebekah, has been a dedicated supporter and volunteer of Special Touch Ministry (STM) for many years. In 2014, Stephen joined the STM Tech Team, and he quickly recognized the profound impact of STM's mission.

Stephen and Rebekah are caretakers for two children, Issac and Harrison, and his sister-in-law. With immediate family members living with disability, Stephen deeply understands the challenges and joys of meeting the needs of those with disabilities. His involvement with STM has deepened his understanding of true servanthood and enriched his life as a pastor, husband, and father. We are honored to welcome Stephen to the STM Board of Directors.

STM Board Members oversee the business details of the Corporation. As a 501(c)3, faith-based, nonprofit Corporation, supported mainly through donations, Special Touch Ministry leaders feel a strong responsibility to use funds wisely and in line with the ministry vision. The Board of Directors ensures financial accountability, legal compliance, and oversight to ensure the long-term sustainability and effectiveness of STM's mission._
