ON THE TRACK OR THE SIDELINES?

A room full of people standing and praising God

A Word to Start the Race

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebrews 12: 1-2

Are we running the race?

Life is a race-not one of speed, but one of endurance. We don’t have to be first; we simply have to finish.

To live fully in Christ is to engage—to serve, to love, to press forward even when it’s difficult. The life we’ve been given through Jesus was never meant to be observed from a distance.

Each one of us faces a quiet but powerful choice: Will we step out onto the track-or remain on the sidelines?
