We're just needing a few more volunteers... to be Caregivers. Especially men.

When: August 10-14, 2026

Where: Waupaca, Wisconsin

What: 5-days, in-residence, providing supervision and guidance

Our Wisconsin Summer GetAway is just around the corner, and while we've got campers (guests) who are excited,

volunteers who are ready,

and someone who's already packed way too many sweatshirts, because, Wisconsin...

We're still praying for a few more people to answer the call to serve.

Here's the good news:

• You don't have to be a superhero.

• You don't need to know camp songs.

• You don't even have to be able to roast the perfect marshmallow (although bonus points if you do).

• You simply need a willing heart and a desire to love people the way Christ loves us.

For five days, you'll help individuals with disabilities enjoy a faith-filled experience with fun, friendship, and the joy of being together. You'll help guide them, cheer them on, laugh until your sides hurt, and probably learn that these guests are the ones ministering to you.

And men—we especially need you! Our male guests benefit from having caring, Christian, men to encourage them, share adventures, and simply spend time together.

Serving at camp is one of those rare opportunities where you go expecting to be a blessing... and then discover God had something planned for you all along.

Volunteer side effects may include:

• Unexpected joy.

• Campfire stories you'll tell for years.

• A deeper appreciation for God's creativity.

• New friendships.

• Sore cheeks from smiling.

• Wondering why you waited so long to volunteer.

As Jesus said, "Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me." Serving at camp is one small way we get to live those words together.
