I felt "dumb"...
"Jenny" was reading from her Sam I Am
book (remember those?)...
I looked around at the other kids in
my Kindergarten class but no one
seemed concerned but me.🙄
I didn't get it…
All I saw in my book was a bunch of
letters next to each other.
I had no clue that those letters
formed words.
"Jenny" was reading words - and it
was downright irritating me!
Why can't I be like "Jenny"?
The teacher called on several kids to
read that day, needless to say I was
not one of them.
The kids in my class were passing me
up and I felt so inadequate…😭
What's wrong with me?!
Then I got mad at my mom for not
telling me there were words in my
book. (blaming)
