The Amish community is represented in 30 states and Canada. States with the largest Old Order Amish populations in descending order are Ohio, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Wisconsin, New York and Missouri. Included in our Documentary collection are many images of Amish life including "Amish Pioneers" taken in Montana c.1917. Montana represents the furthest western expansion of Old Order Amish in the United States.
