"THE SHADOW KNOWS"

The opening line from "The Shadow" radio program from the 1930s of course. Perhaps its impact is lost on younger generations. While not a photography lesson our point is that be not afraid to shoot scenes that contain shadows. The results can be dramatic. Above is a photo that we call "Shadow Woman"; Hamburg, New York (Dec. 1953), taken in a Gulf service station. Interpretation is purely subjective. Below is the photo "Shadow Boys"; U. S. (1948).
