Rachel, Nevada is the closest inhabited settlement to Groom Lake and Area 51. Seen in the distance is the northern edge of Groom Lake about 20 miles to the south. Rachel is located on state road 375 a/k/a the Extraterrestrial Highway as the area has become ground zero for Ufologists. Below is the Little A'le' Inn the local watering hole.
