Subject: Your Own Great Commission!
Hello to everyone within the Million Dollar Transportation
Community! As always, I hope that this message finds
you all doing well and that business is booming!
I had the distinct pleasure in meeting with a very nice
woman yesterday who is joining with Robert Hall and me
in our new venture.
This woman, Elisabeth Wilhelm, is a kinesiologists.
And to say she is knowledgable is an absolute
understatement! I always enjoy talking with her because
we always get involved in such deep and educational
conversations.
In speaking about the mental capacity of humans and our
ability to process change and circumstance, she
explained how, yes, people can change. However, she
told me that only 4% of all people actually commit to and,
thus, undertake change in their life.
In an effort to save time, I won’t going into great detail
discussing all of the reasons why and everything that
Elisabeth used to support such statistics.
But we then discussed how powerful this 4% of people
become because once they have committed to change
they go onto not only change their lives but also, as a
result, effect the change in lives of those around them.
In discussing this, I realized she is probably right. But
whether 4% is statistically spot on or not, I really don’t
care! But what I do care about, is that we, as a
community of entrepreneurs, do commit to and stimulate
change – change in us and those around us!
Think about this. If I never went against what much of
my family and friends told me to do, get a good job at
Lockheed Martin, etc., and I failed to start my own NEMT
business, whould you be reading this message right now?
Heck no! If I played it safe and took a secure job and
never started my NEMT business I never would have
been able to help other people start their own businesses.
Further, I never would have formed so many of the
awesome friendships and partnerships that I have with so
many of you from all around the country!
My point is this. Yes, I’d like to think that I’m part of the
4%! Years ago, back in 1999, I made a firm commitment
to change, go against popularity, leave my comfort zone,
and swim upstream in an “unsafe” environment!
And along the way, I have stimulated growth and change
in the lives of others! I have been incredibly blessed to be
able to help others start their own business. I have an
awesome lifestyle that allows me to coach football and help
troubled youth, and so much more.
So in reading this, I ask you, what can you do to become
part of the 4%? How can you help to change and improve
the lives of those around you by you personally committing
to change?
Seriously, how will your life change and how will the lives of
those around you change?
I share this thought and message with you because after
spending a few hours with Elisabeth I walked away feeling
very motivated to work and dedicate myself to even more
growth and change personally, in business, and more.
And I ask YOU to commit yourself with me!
Seriously, I challenge you to commission yourself to growth
and change – in whatever area and arena of your choosing.
If starting your own NEMT business is not for you, that’s
fine! If joining Robert and me in our new venture is not for
you, that’s fine!
But I challenge you to just take some time and think. Think
about what you’ve done in your life and how you’ve been
able to help influence others. How have you sown the
seeds of benefit and prosperity into the lives of others.
And in pondering such thoughts, I ask you, what can you
do to stimulate further growth and change. How can
your business help other people. How can your personal
action help increase, encourage, and benefit others?
Even if you only ponder such thoughts when you’re driving
down the street, that’s fine. I just hope that you’ll seriously
consider and reflect on what you’ve done and what you can
do in moving forward!
Individually, you can do a lot! But together, we can do
even more! Let’s hold each other accountable and pursue
our own Great Commission!
