There are plenty more, but more and more big cities testing and launching live versions that are going to matriculate out to smaller and midsize markets.
Do you really think this isn’t going to affect your broker work? Your taxi work? Your shuttle service - which will become corporate owned!
The other day I did a favor for Scott and took a conference call with some owners who are running 25 vehicles, all ambulatory, and are resistant to change - and they’re in a state where they can crush wheelchair and stretcher transportation! But, they’re committed to their 10% ROI ambulatory broker work - at least until that faucet gets shut off!
They asked about trying to get new accounts, but as I explained, what accounts are you hoping to get?! You don’t have the right “tools” and capacity, and what you do have is quickly reaching its “shelf life.”
Other providers are running clunker sedans, minivans, and minibuses chasing any ambulatory clients they can get - everything from school students to midnight drunkards. It’s all going to be replaced by automation,
Some of you are quickly reaching a critical stage. You NEED to pivot, transition, and deploy the right capacity and sales cycle. Get out from behind your desk! I don’t care what the dingbats and Fakebook gurus are telling you, if you don’t pivot, your going to be irradiated.
Abandon the “low hanging fruit,” become a leaner, more flexible and higher profit earning operation and fund your honey pot ASAP! The markets are raging and making millionaires!
