Subject: Very impressive when you think about it

Hello to all our Million Dollar peeps!  As always, I hope this message finds you all doing well, and business is booming!

I know I went radio silent for a bit, but that's because I was sick as a dog!  My kiddies got the stomach bug, then my wife, and then me.  AND I NEVER get sick, so this way a foreign concept!  

It's literally been something like 25 - 30 years since I got sick, so this one KICKED MY A$$ (Literally AND figuratively!!)!

The good news is I was able to rekindle my childhood love with Kaopectate!  I KNOW, I KNOW, it's insane, but absolute fact - I always loved the taste of vanilla flavored Kaopectate.  I swear, I drank a gallon of that stuff over the last week!  LOL!

Anyway, I'm STILL digging out from a mountain of emails, but I want to mention two particular providers for a particular reason who I had to assist as soon as I resumed operations.

The first I started working with 3-4 years ago, and as soon as I got back up on my feet I had to edit the heck out of his Pitch Deck because he's going after a $5M deal that includes a $4M acquisition and an expansion of assets.

His message in response to my edits are as follows:
The second provider I've been working with for 4-ish years.  We initially worked on an acquisition that went south because the seller's numbers proved to be a train wreck because she was commingling money - leading to the banks losing confidence in the accuracy of her business/numbers.

In redirecting, he started his own business, and now, in his 3rd year, he's going to hit $2M this year, and we're structuring a $120k-ish total package to compensate a COO to come in and take over daily operations so he can operate more effectively as CEO - focusing on overall vision and execution.

Why do I mentioned these two providers, one located in the midwest and the other on the loony left coast - two TOTALLY different markets and associated dynamics?

Here's the commonality (besides working with us)  ..... wait for it ....... wait for it ........ they both started with a single vehicle and a whole lot of hustle, AND, AND, AND they didn't build their foundation on Medicaid/brokers!

I know, I know, I don't know what I'm talking about. 

"Joel, the ONLY people needing NEMT are on Medicaid!"  

"Joel, you can't build a serious NEMT business without brokers!" 

"Joel, hospitals and facilities don't contract with providers!"

"Joel, Medicaid is the way, the truth, and the life!"

"Joel, you're an international sex symbol drunk on Kaopectate!" 

OK, I agree, the last part is absolutely true, but for everything else - SMH, OMG, WTH, AYKM, etc., etc., etc.

Folks, life is TOO DAMN SHORT to live, act, and operate like someone else's B!@#$.  

Go forth and make REAL money!  Go forth and make REAL Mo Fo moves!  

NO ONE is going to scale your business or your life but YOU!!

STOP being held back!  STOP listening to haters and doubters!  STOP being afraid to think outside the box!  STOP allowing other people/entities to control your business and access to money!
