This is Tom, one of Joel's lead web developers. If you have contacted us with your interest in enlisting our help to develop your website, thank you for your interest and inquiry.
I would like to share a couple of quick tips that will help us expedite the development process.
- If you already have a logo or logos, please send them over as soon as you retain our services. We will definitely provide you with detailed feedback and if we need to do some modifying, we will be more than happy to provide you with direct feedback and willing to make adjustments. As I am sure you are aware, Joel stresses the importance of branding and connecting with your clients and your logos and images play a big part in this process. So please send us what you have as soon as possible
- Please provide us with a casual image of you and/or your business partners. You may have already provided this to Joel you are working one-on-one with him, but if not, we will need am image for the site. If you have some other images you would like for us to include, please feel free to share. Otherwise, no worries, we have access to a great deal of stock images that will make your site look great
- Despite what you might think, Joel is actually involved in the development of your site. He edits all of your verbiage for each page and will sign off on the completion of each project. Nothing is complete without his final approval.
- If you already have a URL, that's great. If not, that is not a problem. We will take care of reserving your URL when define the overall scope of your project
- We definitely need your (1) business phone number, (2) business address, and (3) any company slogans you might want to use. Again, if there is a perceived problem or conflict in messaging, we will definitely contact you and make suggestions. It is all part of the branding process
- If you are doing one-on-one coaching with Joel, you will see that our goal is to create messaging uniformity - we want your website to mirror the messaging and imaging of you promotional materials and executive welcome packet
- We will only work on new website. I know this might be frustrating for many of you as this is probably one of our most common questions - at least from people with existing sites. So if you know you are in need of overhauling your website, please know that we will not edit someone else's work. We might be able to replicate certain elements of an existing site, but we will not edit an existing site. Everything we develop and optimize will be new
