Hello to all our Million Dollar peeps! As always, I hope this message finds you all doing well and business is booming!
I'll work to be quick out of necessity, but the following message echos a conversation I had last week with a guy who's running 25 ambulatory vehicles. There is SO much to glean from this message to include:
1. You're absolutely right, what ModivCrap and other brokers do "makes no sense." You're held to a higher operating "standard" (*Cough, cough - total joke!) and expense to operate within their network, while at the same time they will utilize Uber and Lyft drives.
Why? Because they don't truly care about "patient safety." They only care about THEIR bottom line!
The sooner you accept that dynamic, the sooner you can accept NO ONE cares about your business other than you, and THAT is why you need to make decisions that are in YOUR best interest.
2. Yes, you ARE going to be eradicated by autonomous vehicles. It's only a matter of time. This means all of you operating ambulatory-based fleets, taxi services, and all of you driving for Uber and Lyft, you're on borrowed time.
There's no burying your head in the sand like an ostrich and hoping reality passes you buy. The sooner you accept what's coming, the sooner you can devise a more calculated and strategic plan.
3. You mention your "hesitation." Trust me, I can appreciate cautious concern, but just like I shared with the other provider operating 25 sedans, and to quote YG, "Scared money don't make no money!"
I know, I know, it sounds crazy, but man, it's true.
Autonomous vehicles and other forms of automation are going to quickly separate posers from producers, and you gotta choose which one you're going to be and act accordingly. The writing is on the wall, and the bi-product of your decision will be glaringly obvious!
