This is Tom, lead developer for UMTPG Media.  I don't send out mass emails and hardly ever send messages on Joel's newsletter, so many of you may not be familiar with me, but the reason for this message is because I want to share the below email that we received from a client a short time ago:
The reason for sharing is to help you save a lot of time money and effort.  I know you are all well intentioned, but Joel has given us the road map for creating NEMT and home care websites, so our content and the way we structure your websites is very targeted and purposeful even if you are new and just starting your business.  

Even more, we literally keep adding to and optimizing your website over time.  Your website is literally an ongoing project, so even if you think you are saving money by using another developer, over time you won't.  

In regard to this client's question of should she redo her business cards, the answer is NO!  When we develop your website, we also develop your marketing materials which are equally targeted and compliment your website and the Executive Welcome Packet you will use when working with Joel.

I know this message might sound like a salesman which I can't stand, but the reason I share all of this is because, especially with so many projects we have in our queue, developing your project the right way from the beginning is also going to save us a lot of time and effort.  We don't want to waste your time and we certainly don't want to waste our time when we already know what works.  The way we build your site will mirror the strategies Joel teaches.

If you have any questions, just let me know.  I just don't want to see people wasting time and effort when it just isn't necessary.
