Subject: The writing is on the wall!

Hello to everyone in the Million Dollar and Broker Communities!  As always, I hope this message finds you all doing well and business is booming!

Unless you live under a rock, I'm sure you've heard about Google's Waymo driverless car project.  It was first launched in secret many years ago, but now, it is literally going live in select areas and is replacing ridesharing services.  By all means, do a quick online search and you will see Google is literally launching their "driverless ridesharing service" today.  You have to love technology!

But what can we gather from all of this?

First and foremost, we don't need to be a geniuses to see they will be eliminating rideshare drivers.  And you can't blame them!

We've all heard in the news of politicians and labor unions trying to unionize rideshare drivers, mandate comp insurance, mandate minimum wage, etc.  Well, as can be expected when politicians get involved in the social engineering process, it is only a matter of time before innovation develops REAL solutions.

So we know ridesharing drivers are going to be the first to be eliminated - the writing is on the wall.

Second, we know that, soon thereafter, as the technology becomes further perfected and scalable, state and municipality planners are going to be supporting the technology to serve fixed route and paratransit needs.

So as I've said many times before, the highly subsidized fixed route and paratransit services and associated drivers and providers are on barrowed time - the writing is on the wall!

Following in a close third, it's only a matter of time before Medicaid ambulatory transportation is outsourced to the same technology.  And again, can you blame anyone?  Heck no!  Think how much money can be saved by circumventing Medicaid and comp brokers and eliminating associated labor costs.  The savings are HUGE - the writing is on the wall!

What's the solution?  Well, there is NO solution!  You can't stop the advance of technology.  Rather, you can only embrace technology!

My advice:

1. If you currently own an NEMT business, ensure you are heavily invested in wheelchair and stretcher transportation and less in ambulatory work

2. Start your own broker business (unrelated to NEMT/Medicaid)

You will notice that both strategies move you in the direction of embracing technology to scale your business while not being dependent on the circumstances that leave you vulnerable - like being a rideshare driver, a paratransit driver, or any ambulatory/taxi driver.

If you've read this far and haven't deleted the message because you're living in denial, seriously, the first thing I would encourage you to do is invest in some simple online search to see for yourself - the technology is here and it's only going to further grow - at a rapid pace!  There is no stopping technology.

Second, visit us at YouAreTheBroker.com and take starting your own broker business serious.  I can assure you, you're NOT going to be replaced by technology and you're going to make more money!

See you at the Top!
