Subject: Soliciting Hospitals via Covid-19 Pandemic

Hello to all our active UMTPG members!  As always, I hope this message finds you all doing well and business is booming!

Early last week one of our client-providers I'm doing one-on-one coaching with was contacted with a strange call/request.  It was a for a one-way wheelchair transport from a Walmart to a residence.

It appears the husband had a heart attack in the store and the EMS arrived to rush him to the hospital.  The wife was wheelchair-bound and dependent on the husband who drove their personal wheelchair accessible van.

Regardless, even if she wasn't in a wheelchair, because of the current Coronavirus pandemic, the wife couldn't accompany the husband to the hospital (these are crazy times!).  As a result of this situation, the police called my client-provider and requested they transport her home for which they promptly arrived and accommodated.

The very next day the Chief of Police contacted my client-provider personally to request information about their service.  He said the police department is being inundated with requests for transportation because so many services are shut down and my client-provider is one of the few remaining services open and viable.

The Chief of Police then requested that my client-provider reach out to each area hospital and emergency room to share information about their service in hopes of diverting requests for transportation away from the police department.

Spurred by this direct request, we drafted and forward an email to each hospital, emergency room, and many local nursing and rehab facilities.  With each email we attached a copy of a "3-Point Preventive Action Plan" that we had created previously and shared with facilities we currently serve.

Granted, it's ONLY been one week, but since sending out these emails, my client-provider has already received requests for transport from various facilities AND even received two wheelchair calls from the police department (it would appear people are still calling the cops!).

What's even more awesome about this development (this is the best part and demonstrates on God works in supernatural ways), we're now poised to create an exclusive agreement with one of the ER departments to reimburse my client-provider a monthly retainer between of approximate $1,500 just to ensure they remain open during the midnight hours an does NOT include any reimbursement for transportation.

This possible retainer agreement is still very much in the negotiation stages, but again, it's only been a week and we're moving fast.  Again, if we get this deal, that retainer is money just to guarantee that my client-provider will remain open and available during third shift and does NOT include the cost of any transports.

It's a work in progress, but I'll keep you all posted.

In the interim, if you're an active UMTPG member, please feel free to contact us and we'll forward to you a copy of the "3-Point Preventive Action Plan" and the initial email we sent to area hospitals, ERs, and associated facilities.

We'll forward them to you in a Word Document so you can further customize them, add your logo, company information, and distribute in similar manner.

Again, please contact us ONLY if you're an active UMTPG member.

See you at the Top!
